Question:

I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO INSTAL A GAS FIREPLACE IN MY BASEMENT REC ROOM. I HAVE THE FIREPLACE AND AM UNSURE HOW TO BEGIN. HELP OR PROVIDE A PLACE TO LOCATE A HOW TO GUIDE!

Answer:

As a DIY project, this is a close as you'll ever get to learning about a space program. All these units come with very precise installation instructions and all jurisdictions I know of insist that it be done by a professional. I would not begin to advise anyone who does not have a good familiarity with the product to try installing one; its the kind of thing that lets you celebrate your next birthday and enjoy it.
