Do we have to put in another vent for the air being forced into the crawl space to go out. My husband seems to think if there is no escape the pressure will just continue to build? Wouldn't it just rise through the floor?

As you pump air into the cavity, it is done through holes you make for the duct supplying air to the room above it. You lead ducts through between joist ends and then just not fill in around them. There is normally enough room around the duct entry port to permit good circulation.
