We have trouble getting the heat from our basement furnace to the top floor of the house. It's almost like cool air (or hardly any air) is blowing upstairs, while warm air is coming out on the ground floor. We had our ducts cleaned 2 years ago. We have a wood stove in the basement, and are trying to blow heat through the ductwork via a fan.
Answer:
The ducts need to be 'tuned' and if that doesn't work you may have to consider a booster fan inside the offending duct(s).
