Top > Humidity & Moisture > Ceiling

Question:

I am superintendent of a condo corporation. One of our owners has a problem with two bedroom windows frosting up and also there is moisture along the ceiling above the windows and in closest corners. We had a lot of concrete work done in the summer on the outside of the building and possibly there is not enough insulation around windows.

Answer:

This appears to be as much a question of insulation in that area as it is of a vapour barrier over the insulation. If the wall in that area had to be opened when you had work done, you might check with the people who did the work.
