My recently purchased old house was VERY damp and thanks to your tips on leaving windows open a crack and ceiling fans on low speed(along with a home made basement ventilation fan, built to your specs!) It has now dried up very well...the problem now is it is too dry. I wake up totally stuffed up with dry throat/lips and get a shock from almost everything I touch.....do I now need to put some moisture back into the place? If, yes ...how?
Answer:
If you have forced air heat, you can introduce a 'flo thu' humidifier to the furnace and that will do all you need.
