My daughter packed away a nylon tent while it was still wet about 3 weeks ago.We just put it up and it has spots of mold on it.Is this removable or is the tent permanently wrecked? What substance might remove it and is the tent still safe to use?My wife tried washing it in the washing machine but the stains are still there and it still has the mildew odor.

A concoction I've been suggesting lately and have had no negative feed-back for is a 50/50 mixture of original formula listerine and warm water. This gets rid of the mildew odour but I don't know what it will do, if anything for the spots.
