Question:

Our home is on a cement slab, no basement and we have sow bugs in the house most of the year, especially in the winter, spring and fall. It's not unusual to get 20 a day. All of the slab is expossed by about 8- 10 ". We have vinyl siding on the house. The house is 35 yrs. old. What can we do and does it mean the wood under the siding is wet? We used to listen to you every Sat. morning when you were on talk radio here in Hfx. and we really miss you. I'd appreciate your help.

Answer:

You don't need wood. All you need is moisture and you'll have sow bugs. Getting rid of them usually means getting rid of whatever the water source is so you might talk to a local exterminator about that. Never hesitate to submit your questions.
