Question:

We have an indoor pool and keep our water around 95. The air in the pool room are at about 50% humidity. The walls of our house are build with 2x6 with insulation then a vapour barrier, then 2x2 strapping and insulation again then drywall. All plugs are on the inside of the vapour barrier. The exterior of our house is stucco over OSB sheeting and paperbacked wire mesh. We have ice build-up on the OSB sheeting close to the pool. We built the house into a hill so the pool area and most of the basement is above ground. Where does the moisture come from?

Answer:

Anytime you build into the ground you're dealing with excessive moisture and I have a feeling that the portion that is causing the most condensation for you is dealing with a lot of run-off that is overwhelming the drainage system. If that's the case, excavation and doubling up or even trebling the drainage tiles before back filling may be your only solution.
