I'm an audio engineer/teacher that wants to convert my finished (drywall) basement into an Audio Recording/Mixing sound room. This will require some acoustic dampening. As I don't have a great deal of money to spend on 'reno's' - I thought the best bang-for-the-buck might be "CORK TILES" on the walls? (maybe ceiling as well). Is there a business in Ottawa (ON) I can talk to, that sells Cork tiles/roles? Do you know someone else I might contact for 'acoustic dampening'?
