My house is an a slab with in-floor heat. The ground outside the foundation seems to be melting in the winter. Heat loss is a great consern. Is there anything I can do to reduce this heat loss?

About the only thing I can think of applying rigid foam insulation to the exterior walls. That insulation should also go down to below frost level.
