I want to insulate a wood framed, steel sheet covered building. I realize that ventilation is of paramount importance but am not sure of the correct method to do this. The building is 30x25 feet and the walls are 15 feet high. There will be a ceiling where the roof & walls meet which will be attic storage space. The entire building and storage area (attic) will be heated on a steady basis with a natural gas furnace. This is not for commercial use but to service and store our snowmobiles, atvs, lawn tractor etc.
Answer:
I'd probably find a spray foam insulation of some kind rather than using any conventional method. Whatever you use will have to adhere very well to the metal siding or you'll have real problems.
