There has been a moldy, mildewy smell coming from underneath the bathroom sink on the second floor. I am ready to move out. As long as I keep a fan right in front of it, it kind of dissipates. Had a plumber in and there seems to be no leaks. Friend handyman says smells like something dead. Have a mouse problem, addressing that. But the smell is still there. Have allergies. Am beside myself.

Keeping that cabinet door open as much as possible will help but you have to trace the source of the moisture that is causing the mildew.
