Since your inspection at Silver Lake, Ontario, I have installed ridge vents on cottage and shed, dug a trench beside the woodshed end of the cottage and shored up the falling concrete wall with 2x2x3 concrete braces on the inside. While installing the ridge vent on the cottage I found wood rot in the roof, addressing that is next on the list. Will I be proceeding the right way?
