Question:

Have a double garage with concrete floor. House is about 25 years old. In front of each garage door (2 separate ones), is a crescent-shaped crack about a sixteenth to a quarter of an inch in width. I've chiseled it out and placed a good bonding product in these cracks. Unfortunately, it has come loose in spots. There is movement of the concrete in the winter and I guess the salty/water conditions don't help. I've heard of a flexible commercial product that is used on roads and outdoor parking lots to seal such cracks. Would this be a good bet for the garage floor cracks that are not responding to my concrete patch efforts?

Answer:

Its about the only thing that will come anywhere near helping you because as long as the crack is active, its going to break down anything you put into it.
