Question:

We live in Vancouver, British Columbia and have an apartment with a glassed in brick patio/balcony. Because of our damp weather the brick stays quite damp in the winter and mold develops. We attempted to get rid of the mold - by using chlorine bleach which worked. Now the brick appear to be bleached. Can you suggest something to bring the bricks back to their original appearance?

Answer:

Are you ever in luck! There are now bio-degradable cleaning products on the market to do exactly what you need. Check with a good paint outlet for them.
