Question:

We are renovating our basement laundry room and would like to add a small in wall ironing board. Is this easy to do? Is there a special ironing board to buy?

Answer:

It's actually very easy but you may have to build your own ironing board because these things used to be smaller than the conventional ones we use now. I'd make it into something more than that and use a conventional board just so I could add a shelf for the iron, a place for coat hangers, a place to put the soap, etc. etc. Its just too much of a fun project to be a simple ironing board.
