Question:

seriously thinking of buying a 3 storey but have some concerns about a stairway from the 2nd to 3rd floor. as it is now it quite narrow. basically the stairs start in the middle of the bathroom, the toilet is beneath the staris in its own sm room and the tub and sink are at the stairway entrance. to complicate things between the sink and tub is a door to a patio above an addition. anyways b4 we buy were thinking of having some kind of design contractor have a look and offer suggestions as to making the 2nd floor a little more rational and providing an estimate. assume this will mean repositioning the staircase. do you know any company in ott that would be suitable. this would be our first house and are clueless about the world of contracting.

Answer:

No matter who does the work in the end, get at least three contractors to submit estimates.

In the interests of retaining credibility and in fairness to all, I cannot recommend prices, people nor companies for various projects.
