Please tell me what I can use around a deck instead of lattice to prevent rodents from setting up house beneath it.

They've been around longer than we have and appear to be better at surviving so other than blocking them off with some sort of lattice is about out of the question. It is not legal to use things that are not environmentally friendly so I guess we'll keep putting up with them.
