Question:

We have a shed which is at the bottom of the slope in a narrow backyard are. The floor is rotten plywood which we intended to replace with concrete, of the ready-mix variety; after many phone calls we've realized that poured concrete is no longer feasible. We areinterested in hearing any suggestions about what and how we can replace the floor with suitable materials at reasonable cost; the shed must be moved anyway so we want to do it right the first time. I'm sorrry to be such a pest but I've really appreciated hearing from you on my last few questions.(The shed is approx. 8' X 10')

Answer:

Is there anything wrong with setting the shed on a 6X6 foundation and then filling the cavity with gravel before putting patio stones on it? They're inexpensive and last well provided you compact the sub-structure and it's level.
