we have a toilet seat that is an odd shape and cannot find one to fit. I would like to paint it. Firstly is it ok to paint a toilet seat and if yes, what kind of paint do you use - primer etc.

I've painted them before and they lasted quite well but you have to know what material it is made of before you go to the expense of the paint.
