Question:

Is it possible to paint, or otherwise change the colour in some way, ceramic floor tiles? I do not wish to change the whole floor, but we are looking to buy a house which has small diamonds scattered about which are brown, and I wonder if it is possible somehow to change the colour of just these tiles. To remove and replace seems impossible.

Answer:

Yes, you can change only the colour if you like but it will take preparation done exactly according to the instructions on the paint can. Buy the paint first and then go with the base (primer) that it will suggest. Also treat the surface of the existing tiles exactly as the primer suggests.
