Question:

For years I have been painting the inside of houses with 'interior' paint and the outside with 'exterior' paint. I know that you can't use interior paint outside but, can you use 'exterior' paint inside?

Answer:

Other than to use up some overstock, I don't know why you'd want to but yes, you can use it although it will not give you that nice finished look that you want. At least I haven't ben able to get it. I have a feeling it might also chalk after a while. I've not been happy with the results so I've never had it on long enough to find out much more than that. to get rid of it, I applied a good coat of interior primer that is meant for oil or water based paints and then painted it.
