Question:
I am about to refinish the front of my home by repainting the wood areas of the front entrance and garage.
Answer:
Once you have everything stripped to where you want it, prime with an oil-based product and then paint. Before priming, the wood must be as dry as possible. any moisture in it at all and the primer sits on top only to be popped off along with the finish coat of paint when the sun hits it again.
