I have a concrete floor that was poured last October and I am now ready to put the sealing coat on it. It was suggested to me to put stain on the raw surface first and then sealer over top to get a 'colored look' without the peeling that paint may give. What is your opinion on this, if it is okay I would assume I would use a water base stain as the sealer I have purchased is water based.
Answer:
I wouldn't dare stainit first but I would certainly seal it.
