Question:

We are trying to clean the paint off our door hardware. I know there are chemicals that do the job, but I heard of a method whereby you boiled the parts in a baking soda mixture. I can't quite recall how it works. Have you heard of this?

Thanks

Ed Allan

Answer:

No, I have not but I know that lacquer thinner does a good and very fast job on them.
