I have a 25 yr. old home with exterior of some type of composite of that time frame. It has been stained with oil-based stain many times over the years. My question is - can I use a latex stain on top of this and if so - what brand would you recommend?

In fairness to all I stay away from recommending people or companies for all projects but I see no reason why a good paint cannot be applied there if you follow the instructions on the container particularly in preparing the surface.
