Question:

I am about to repaint the front of my metal front door. I have removed the old kick-plate which I do not intent to re-install. I am left with ten screw holes in the metal door and would very much appreciate your recommendation on how and with what I should use to fill them before painting.

Answer:

I think I'd just settle for installing decorative buttons over the holes because they'll at least look better.
