Question:

I have a new wood glider, painted white. I want to paint it a different color so I can use it indoors. Do I need to strip the original white paint off, or can I paint over it, and what kind of paint would I use?

Answer:

You'll have to do a bit more work than that. You first have to neutralize the outdoor paint that's on it. The easiest way to do that is to take it off with a heatgun and paint scraper. Now you can prime it and paint it whatever colour you want.
