Our exposed back porch with 5 steps is made of treated lumber and is 12 years old. I would like to paint it with anti-slip paint. 1) The house siding below basement is Dark brown, while the rest is old-fashioned stucco (white with bits of black and white gravel) and white trim. 2) Steps and porch are exposed to the rain and needs anti-slip coating, which I can only find in a medium grey colour. Which material and method would I need to apply a durable, slip-proof coating in the colour of my choice?
Answer:
Apply any colour you want and before it dries, sprinkle a bit of sand on it from a salt shaker and you have your anti-slip surface.
