We have an older porch in the front of our house. It was painted a few times. What we would like to do is change the colour to a dark taupe and are having a very difficult time getting the old paint off. We have tried everything one can imagine. I'm hoping that we can paint directly over top of the old. I also wanted to say that I and my patrons listen to your show every Saturday morning while I'm doing their hair. I am rather into the show even though I do not have any experience in household projects. It is such a delight to hear the two of you talk and laugh along together as our world needs plenty more of laughter.

You'll probably do best to apply a good primer paint over the green and then paint it whatever colour you want.
