Question:

We've come across a set of 1950's style kitchen chairs with chrome tubular metal frames. The chrome is pitted, fairly badly in places. Is it possible to restore or refinish the metal to get the mirror chrome look?

Answer:

The best you're going todo with these chrome chairs is rough them up with steel wool, prime and then paint them.
