we have cracks in our radiant heat ceilings we have used tape and joint compound to fix them but as soon as the heat is on they recrack how can we solve this problem.

You've done the repair properly so the problem seems to have more to do with moisture than anything else. I'd check for condensation or some other moisture source in the cavity above the heated ceiling.
