Question:

This fall my husband added ionsulation to our second story house, but he accidently hopefully) put a foot through the ceiling!! He has repaired it...now the problem... it has that podge stuff on it, now that it's fixed how do we go about re-podging,i.e. do we have to sand all the ceiling and re-apply the podge, or is there a trick of somekind that we can employ.

Answer:

Now that its repaired, you might try painting it and then re-texturing the whole ceiling because there is no way you'll be able to match what's there otherwise.
