are there suppose to be ice crystals in the attic I dont mean just a few but alot if there isnt suppose to be then what can a person do about it there seems to be alot of insulation up there but still we see moisture in our living room around the light fixtures in the ceiling also we feel a draft .Do we need more insulation?

What you seem to need is more attic ventilation both in the soffits and a at the ridge. The draft tells me that you are missing insulation and or vapour barrier around certain fixtures. I don't know how much insulation you have up there but I don't find anything wrong with anything up to about R-60 provided soffit ventilation is not compromised in the process.
