Question:

I recently installed a new toilet at the cottage. Ever since the toilet bowl, not the tank, fills up nearly to the brim with every flush. How can I control the height of the water in the bowl?

Answer:

You cannot. About the closest you'll come to it is to ensure that the stack is properly vented and that the wax ring under the toilet is not crushed inward.
