Question:

Our fireplace glass door enclosure has a brass finish that has become discoloured due to hot wood cinders coming in contact with it. I have tried various cleaners to try and restore the finish but none have worked. Any suggestions other than replacing this unit?

Answer:

If a waterless wash paste doesn't work, you might just have to replace it.
