I have an older friend who had a leak come in with about 6 rung out towels of water. I went up into his attic and I saw water droplets on the ends of the roofing nails. Could this be the problem or is that too much water coming in? I went on the roof too and in the valley there was a bit of a gouge out. I patched it, but wasn't sure if water was coming in from that spot either. It seems a little more logical than the roofing nails. What do you think?
Answer:
The roofing nails will not normally provide that much of a flood so I'd want to find the leak wherever it is and then deal with it.
