Question:

i have constructed a lean to extension to the back of my kitchen the extension is only half the width of the kitchenso to tie it in to the kitchen roof i have to construct a valley on the existing kitchen roof (L shaped) MY PROBLEM IS THAT THE NEW BLOCKWORK IS 8 INCHES HIGHER THAN THEkitchen wall plate is a valley still possible

Answer:

It certainly is. All you have to do is start it higher up on the original structure's roof and then metal flash the shingles down to the fascia.
