Question:

We recently bought a home and the inspection noted that the roof needed to be sealed. The seller did the sealing herself. The sealant spilled over the edge of the roof onto the slate tiles in front of the house. It looks terrible! Is there any way to remove the excess sealant?

Answer:

You'll have to determine what the sealant is and then check with the manufacturer for a neutralizing agent.
