A local contractor applied a water-based asphalt sealer on my driveway, and within 12 hours or so we had heavy rains that washed the sealer onto an apron in front of my garage comprised of interlocking concrete pavers. The company says it can remove the sealer from my pavers using a power washer and perhaps some cleaner or solvent. I am worried that this will not work, and also that areas receiving the runoff will be damaged. What can be done to properly remove the sealer from my concrete pavers?
Answer:
It can be removed as he suggests and the areas you're worried about can be protected with drop cloths of some such. The sooner this is done the more likely it is to be done successfully.
