What is the best way to repair a crack in my foundation? During a recent heavy rainfall I had water leaking into my crawl. The house is approximately 35 years old. This problem is not one that occurs every time it rains but is obviously a concern. Would opening the crack and injecting a rubberized chalking solve this problem?

If the foundation wall is poured concrete this will work but it has to be done from the outside. If its concrete block, you'll have to get much more involved with it.
