Question:

We have replaced a kitchen window which sits in further than the old one did. We would like to know how to remove the old acrylic caulking from the brick outer sill. We've scraped off most of it, but the rest is difficult to remove from the porous brick.

Answer:

There are biodegradeable products on the market for this and they are available at all better paint stores. You may have to use a pressure hose with it but it all comes off.
