Question:

This is a follow-up to the question I asked a couple of weeks ago about what to use to seal a garage floor that has seen a few winters. I got a jug of varsol and a jug of double boiled (treated) linseed oil. your exact recommendation was "chemically boiled linseed oil" I hope what I got is the same thing. Anyway, what do I use to apply the mixture? A roller, I presume, but what kind of roller? Would a foam roller be acceptible for this mixture?

Answer:

You can use a foam or any other kind of roller but you might have better luck with a string mop. You did get the right linseed oil.
