Question:

what do you use to apply the mixture to the garage floor and how long does it generally take to dry? Also does the mixture leave a residue after it drys that can be tracked into the house?

Answer:

I apply it with a mop and after three or four days with good ventilation, there's no way you'll track it into the house. That is, if you use chemically boiled linseed oil and not the raw stuff.

Remember, even if you don’t do your own work around the house have to hire someone, you put yourself at a great advantage when you can intelligently discuss a project with the various trades people.
