Question:

I have a stain on my linoleum floor that won't come out. What happened was that we had a shopping bag on our floor. The floor must have become wet because when we went to remove the shopping bag, the pattern on the bag was tattooed on our linoleum! We used cleaners on it and removed a lot of the stain but not all, especially around the edges. Is there anything that can get that stain out, or do we have to replace it? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Answer:

A fine utility knife is about the only thing I know of that will remove stains from a linoleum floor. After you've done that though, you'll have to cut a patch for it from under the stove or fridge and the glue line will end up showing after a couple of weeks. I like your idea better I think.
