Our roof leaked and has stained the ceiling which is California redwood. It has left black stains. We would appreciate advice on how to remove them. We had a leak last year and spent $5000.00 to have it repaired only to have another leak this year with the first rain. I will be checking with the roofing expert on a better repair

California redwood will not let go of stains easily. I don't even know if wood bleach will work on it. I'd try a biodegradeable wood wash on it.
