This summer I had a new roof put on and had two whirlbird vents installed instead of the original low profile vents. I was listening to your show on CFOS Owen Sound (ON) and I believe a question was asked re these vents. The man was asking should he cover them with a plastic bag during the winter. I think you replied yes as the attic has no hot hair to expel from Nov to April and covering them prevents snow from getting into the attic - melting and dripping through the ceiling. Should I be covering these vents this winter?
