Question:

My garage is part of my basement. 2 of the walls are concrete and the other is drywall. This summer there has been much condensation on the 2 concrete walls. I know you advise to ventilate so I was going to cut 2 holes (each 4" in dia.) in the garage door at the bottom and 2 holes at the top of the door. Will this solve my problem?

Answer:

No, it will not. Condensation on the concrete walls (during a summer like we had) talks more about a lack of sufficient drainage on the exterior than it does about moisture inside so you might want to address that first.
