Question:

Any ideas on how to stop the squeaks on an old wooden 4 poster bed with iron side rails. The rails are a bit too large, lots of movement in them therefore the head and back board move as well.

Answer:

About the only thing you're going to do here is replace the clamps that hold it on or introduce short lengths of 2X2" angle iron on the inside of each corner.
