Question:

The problem is a chest of drawers which have been used in a cottage for many years. The chest of drawers have been brought back to civilization, and it was noticed that the drawers have developed a musty odor. I have no information about the cause of these odors. The only other information I have is that the cottage was not heated in the winter.

Answer:

Try mixing original formula listerine 50/50 with warm water and scrub the drawers and other interior components of the unit with it.
